Happy New Year!

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Wow! It’s 12/31/09, with the year end just a few minutes away. It has spurred me on to do a much overdue blog post. It’s been far too long.

I miss blogging. I guess we all secretly love to ramble on about the importance of our daily crap. Or the perceived importance of it.

So much has happened since my last post. Really involved in a new dog training facility. Mom has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Seems like there’s never time for anything. I’m sure my ADD (or my alleged ADD) doesn’t help. What it takes the normal person to do in 4 hours might take me 2 days to do. Then there are the things I can NEVER seem to get done. But I digress (due I’m sure to my ADD).

It’s New Year’s Eve and time once again to re-evaluate. To re-think how life is going, and how we might want to change it. As for me - I am vowing (once again) to try to be healthier in the New Year. To try (once again) to get more organized and use my time more wisely. To be a nicer person all around - definitely a huge challenge. And generally just try to make the world a better place.

Sometimes you just have to take an honest look and realize that there are improvements to be made. But we must keep on plugging, and not give up. Who knows, we might actually accomplish one or two of them before another year goes by.

Happy striving! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Another year is gone and a new one is upon us. Another chance for re-evaluating things. Another chance for deciding where you want to be a year from now (if you’re lucky enough to still be here).

A New Year brings new opportunities to be who we want to be; to live life the way we want to live; to lose weight if we need; to be more kind if we’re so inclined; to dedicate ourselves to whatever we feel is a worthy cause.

Birthdays and New Years are great times to reevaluate if we’re where we want to be, and if not, to recommit to getting there. Life, after all, should be lived to the fullest. Having a passion certainly gives our life meaning and excitement. It makes us fulfilled. It satisfies us. It nurtures and sustains us.

Among my own personal goals for the year are:

Get healthy - not JUST thinner, but Healthier . . .

Be more vigilant on the Clean Up Your Messy House Pledge (Oprah). I was supposed to be working 10 minutes a day on this, which is Totally Doable!!! Fell off the wagon somewhere along the line, but need to get back on it.

Get more organized - in my business and in my personal life.

Be focused - don’t be so ADHD - if you start something, follow through! Don’t get distracted with 100 other things along the way.

Figure out a way to encourage Big R to be more proactive with his diabetes.

Be more dedicated to training the dogs - EVERY day!!!!

Here’s to whatever venture you bring to the table this coming year; to whatever changes you intend to make; and to living life in a big way.

Life . . . don’t blow it!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
