I watched the DVD Grizzly Man a while back, and it's just plain disturbing.

http://myadd.wordpress.com/2007/08/24/what-do-these-4-all-have-in-common-the-jackass-gene/

Although some probably won't agree... I don't think there is much difference between him and guys like Irwin and Salmoni.

When I first saw watched the DVD, I was wondering - "Why is this guy hanging out with foxes ?!?!?!"

Common sense should tell you that the last thing you would want to associate with is something lower on the food chain. Now that I am watching the diaries, I see that he was hanging out with them far more than what was revealed in the DVD - it's no wonder he was seen as prey by the Grizzlies. Unluckily for him, he's not quite as quick as a real fox either.

I haven't watched it yet, but I read about the story in the news when it broke. Poor guy miscalculated his relationship with the bears. Sad that he brought his girlfriend into it also. I'll have to look for the show as I didn't know they made one about it.

Watch, Grizzly Man, by Werner Herzog. His personality would have made more sense if you had watched that prior to this series. This series consentrates a lot on his emotional thoughts towards life if you read between the lines and not so much the animals.
To creep you out even more. That was the last year he had planned on going out there, period. Hmmmm.
